Really good news from (firstly yesterday) this morning regarding our Ethiopian Thistle Feedee (see earlier post on spiderlings). It FINALLY has been discovered by a pair (at least) of beautiful Goldfinches - the species of bird it was erected for!
I've wanted to see these wonderful finches in my garden since I was a boy - Teasels normally do the trick, as these birds adore seeds like these - Thistles etc...
I'll re-position the hide when the weather cheers up and the birds get a bit more used to it - watch this space!
