The first of the male in March this year, overlooking the female beginning to nest-build...


And this one, of the male yesterday, helping to feed his hen and the chicks after feeding the hen as well as himself for the past two weeks...Remember... this is the same bird! These Blue Tits, by breeding, are SIGNIFICANTLY increasing their chances of dying and decreasing their general levels of health.
High risk - high reward stuff.



NB. Be warned, BOTH parents will look worse and worse from now on, as their work rate increases massively, with all their nestlings to feed...
