A friend from the office spotted this floating towards the lock, a few minutes ago. A dead bloated lamb (female). Nothing much more to say about this really, apart from the fact that I'm surprised we haven't had a call about it yet...

Looking forward to the photo. When we went on a canal-boating holiday in North Wales many many years ago there was a dead sheep floating next to a lock, and the outflow currents from the lock meant it kept submerging and then popping up again somewhere slightly different a few minutes later. Almost like it was stalking us from beyond the grave in some way. Well, OK, not like that at all.
