The river being the River Thames of course. Very peaceful last night - a few rowers, a Tern or two, and the flies (Mayflies and Sedge flies mainly) hatching like crazy. I really enjoyable, relaxing evening - all rounded off with a couple of jars of Badger Champion Beer and a Burger at the riverside pub! Heaven is a place on earth!

(click to enlarge)NB. If you do click to enlarge, and you do look up the line of boats on the right hand side of the river, some of you will recognise the boat nearest the boat house. It's "SAMPHIRE" - my father's old powercruiser, and the vehicle for many of our school holiday boat trips up to Lechlade and back on Old Father Thames...
