This non-native species of Ladybird (a REAL problem in the USA where it was introduced as a biological control of pests) is now our biggest British ladybird, and becoming a problem here too.
It was first officially recorded in Tottenham cemetary, in 2004 (I think), so this one hasn't moved far!

We have found these in Reading also (in our garden). There's no stopping this beautiful insect with a very dark side...
NB. 21/06/07 As if by magic.... a Harlequin a few days later in our garden in Reading...
