As mentioned, Anna and I, two friends and two Canadian relations went to Westminster to see in the new year with approximately half a million fellow revellers.
We made the decision at nine pm, to spend most of the evening in a nearby pub (which Anna and I had found the night before), so missed the best viewing spot on Westminster bridge, but we feel the trip was certainly worth it anyway...
